Steve Ayroloomi

Steve Ayroloomi attended college at Rhode Island School of Design (RISD). During his summer semester, he also enrolled into NYU’s intensive film production course to further his grasp on filmmaking. He graduating from RISD in 1995 with a BFA in Film and a minor in Illustration. At RISD, Steven write and directed his highly acclaimed animated film “Return of the Sundevil” , which follows the exploits of a mythic Samurai Warrior that comes out of retirement for one final battle.

Steven’s next film, a short entitled “Nathan Grimm” starred famous veteran actors – Kevin Dobson (Knots Landing, Kojak) and Kim Chan (Lethal Weapon 4, The Corrupter and Kundun). Steven was able to mount Nathan Grimm as a big scale action period piece complete with vintage cars and New York City streets that were shut down and redressed to replicate the 1940’s. Nathan Grimm had its world premiere at PARAMOUNT STUDIOS on the opening night of the Hollywood Film Festival. Steven made his first feature film for Lions Gate Entertainment “Leprechaun Back 2 Tha’ Hood”, which he wrote and directed, starring Warwick Davis (Willow, Harry Potter, Return of the Jedi), Tangi Miller (Felicity, Madea’s Family Reunion) and Sticky Fingaz (The Shield, Over There and member of rap group Onyx). Steven also co-Directed the Romantic Comedy “Flip The Script” starring Robin Givens and Miguel Nunez jr.
