Born in Ghana and raised in London, England Love Joel Aryeetey obtained a Masters Degree in Communication and films from Leeds Metropolitan University in 1991. He worked for channel 4 and BBC TV in England and in 1998 he produced and directed his first 35mm feature film titled “Rituals of fire”. Love has also produced and directed other documentaries including – “Scramble for Africa”, The Black and White World of Paul Robeson” and “Haiti: the sleeping giant”.
